The original watercolours in this series were created in 2008 for Ellington Ward, an older adults' mental health ward at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow. Originally sparked by the idea of creating artwork for an older people's care home on Circus Road, the series celebrates the longevity, vitality, and well-practised talents of elderly jugglers, tightrope walkers, fire-eaters, and clowns. The collection has been featured in touring exhibitions such as Quentin Blake: As Large as Life
